Daughters of Divine Guidance

The Mt. Calvary Baptist Church Dance Ministry’s mission is to glorify God, encourage the saints through the ministry of dance and compel the world to salvation through discipleship. We glorify the Lord with our bodies. As others see us in ministry their hearts should be lifted up to Him, not distracted from their worship. The purpose is that the worshiper sees the heart of the Lord and they know the word of the Lord, they understand and they take action on the word, whether it is in repentance or in thanksgiving, in joy or in whatever the word brings. The focus is the Lord, not the dancer. Let Him be exalted!

Spiritual Expressions

The Dance Ministry is lead by Deaconess Gwen Howard and consists of the Daughters of Divine Guidance (adult dancers), Spiritual Expressions (teen dancers) and Calvary Kids (dancers ages 3 and up).

Calvary Kids

Rehearsals are held as follows:
• Daughters of Divine Guidance – Rehearsal every Tuesday at 7 p.m. EST
• Spiritual Expressions – Rehearsal every Saturday before the third Sunday at 1:30 p.m. EST
• Calvary Kids – Rehearsals the first Saturday of each month from 12 noon – 1:30 p.m. and the third Saturday of each month from 12:30 – 2:30 p.m. EST
